GETTING LICENSED
Your journey to becoming a licensed and operational commercial cannabis cultivator or business starts with the Lake County Community Development Department (CDD).

You start with a Pre-application meeting and end with a Major or Minor Use Permit hearing before the Planning Commission.

EARLY ACTIVATION
3.1.21 - Over the past few years, the LCCA has put a priority on building a working relationship with the CDD. In that spirit we continue to work with the CDD, the BoS, our members and the community to ensure Early Activation continues.

To answer a common question, Early Activation IS NOT a way to plant before you have your state license.
